Harrison Barnard went to the Chicago Association of Commerce (CAC) to engage the business community against the hoodlums who shot at his building superintendent, Phillip Meagher.  Harrison Barnard was  prominent builder, and trustee of the University of Chicago and the Shedd Aquarium.
